IMPORTANT INFORMATION for the cast and crew of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

In light of guidance and recommended practices to slow spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, and with restrictions on the number of people that can congregate together enforced into at least April, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the rest of our remaining scheduled rehearsals as well as our performances of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in May. This is not a decision that we have made lightly, but due to the current circumstances and to keep everyone involved in this production as healthy as we can, we know that this is the right choice.

This week, the Falmouth Theatre Guild Board of Directors will be discussing our options going forward, and we hope to be able to run our show sometime next season–details and proposed plans will be forthcoming as soon as they are available. Stay tuned in the next few days for information and instructions.

Please stay healthy and safe. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Collecting scripts, packets, and scores

We’ve placed a box just outside the concessions stand at Highfield Theater to collect scripts, Children’s Ensemble rehearsal packets, and scores that were loaned out for our production.  The box has a note on it with instructions, and is sitting on a stool to be easily visible.  I’ll be swinging by the theater periodically over the next week to grab them from the box and move them inside.
If you have a script to return, please note:
  • Be sure to completely erase any blocking notes and markings in your script before returning it.  Please do not erase the number written on the first page–I’ve recorded who was loaned which script number and I need this to check you off my list
  • If you have damaged or permanently defaced your script, please submit a check or cash totaling $20 to cover the costs that FTG will need to pay MTI.  Checks can be made to Falmouth Theatre Guild.
If you can’t return your copy of the script by the March 28th, please let us know.  We will try and work out a way to get your copy back to us.
